Wow..Three years!! It has been a journey of many ups and downs, but I would not trade a day of the ups and downs for life before my Nissen Fundplication. This surgery has given me the ability to live again.
Have you lost any additional weight since your 22lb weight loss? Have you been able to maintain it over the past 3 years? Or did it come back once you started adding solids back to your diet?
I had the procedure exactly 4 weeks ago and have had continual diahrrea. Non stop, no matter what I eat or even when I don't eat at all. I see no end in sight and all meds prescribed by my gastroenterologist or surgeon are not working. I'm miserable and probably would have skipped the surgery if I would have known this would happen
I have a spastic colon, where if I'm not constipated it's the opposite. I can't remember the last time it was normal. I will be going through my surgery the 25th of this month. The doctor told me about the trotts, I told him it's nothing new for me. I keep Imodium on hand. I am not looking forward to the liquid diet or no caffeine. I love my coffee have been drinking it since I was little.

If they told me I needed this yearly, I would have no problem with that. I really think they saved my life, I didn't know what it was like to breathe. Then when you have over 1//2 of your stomach in the wrong place, to need this surgery. Not even one neg. thing wrong. Life is already much better. God Is SO GOOD!

I know that even when I cried all day thinking about how to recover, you were not sleeping, you were dear to me. I contacted the herbal center Dr Itua, who lived in West Africa.
